What is a SEAL? He is a common man with uncommon desire to succeed. A SEAL’s unflinching commitment to accomplish his mission is something that cannot be taught. Beyond his rigorous physical training, mental discipline and technological resources, it is his extraordinary, innate force of will that ensures a SEAL’s place amongst the pinnacle of elite warriors.

Members of the NSW community and their families live with a far greater level of uncertainty than most of us. Active duty means just that; the deployment cycle is intense, training is constant and missions are often assigned without notice. When family emergencies arise during a mission, operators can’t stop what they’re doing to come home. Knowing that we’re here to support their families helps our elite warriors maintain their razor-sharp edge. And while NSW spouses are among the most capable in the world, there are times when the support we provide is truly needed.

The Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community thrives on achievement in every field of endeavor, including education. Active-duty operators, spouses, and children are encouraged to advance their learning as far as their interests and abilities will take them. The educational support we provide augments funding accessible through Navy programs and provides additional financial resources that would not otherwise be available. Your support of our mission helps to ensure that members of the NSW community can pursue educational goals that are as crucial in the military as they are in the civilian world.

The history and heritage of the NSW community is one of extraordinary achievements and exceptional courage. Although the clandestine nature of their activities shields them from public attention, the deeds of these elite warriors deserve to be remembered and recognized.
