Navy SEAL Foundation Scholarships

Eligibility Requirements

Navy SEAL Foundation Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and academic potential. Merit shall be based on grade point average, SAT scores, class ranking, extracurricular activities, volunteer community involvement, leadership positions held, military service record, and employment as appropriate. Multiple scholarships of various dollar amounts are awarded annually. The Navy SEAL Foundation shall award scholarships without regard to race, color, sex, religion, or national origin.

 Navy SEAL Foundation Scholarships are offered to:

  • Active duty SEALs, SWCC and other active duty Naval Special Warfare personnel currently serving in NSW Commands
  • Dependent children of active duty SEALs, SWCC and other active duty Naval Special Warfare personnel currently serving in NSW Commands
  • Spouses of active duty SEALs, SWCC and other active duty Naval Special Warfare personnel currently serving in NSW Commands

Scholarships are awarded to full-time or part-time students seeking:

  • Certificate programs and licensures and certifications
  • Vocational programs
  • Associates degrees
  • Bachelor’s degrees
  • Graduate degrees – spouses and active duty only (no dependent children)
