Pumpkin Drop Rules:

Using only household items, youth will prototype a way to protect their pumpkin from breaking when dropped from the 157 foot tall Cape Henry Lighthouse! Pumpkins entering the drop contest are recommended to be a small 2 pound pumpkin. Participants must provide their own pumpkin and contraption. The pumpkin contraptions will be dropped by out designated pumpkin droppers who will be safely harnessed in at the top of the lighthouse. The contest drop will be judged by based on three merits:

1. Creativity of contraption.
2. Damage of pumpkin.
3. How close the pumpkin lands to the marked target below.

First, Second and Third place winners will receive prizes! All children in attendance will receive a Halloween goodie bag! All proceeds split between SEAL Kids and the Navy SEAL Foundation!
