Imperial Nebraska Joggin’ for Frogmen 5k Race

May 26 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

LEtter from the race director

He’s been my best friend since the day he was born. He’s my kids’ Hero who fights bad guys to keep us safe. He’s the reason why I am bringing Joggin’ For Frogmen to Imperial, Nebraska. He’s my Hero and beloved little brother. I cherish my freedom and all past, present, and future men and women fighting for it.

Imperial, Nebraska is a small agricultural community with a big heart. Everyone has someone close to them or knows someone in our community who was or is serving our country. Everyone has the American flag in their yard or driveway flying high and proud, followed, of course, with a flag of our beloved Huskers! Something I love about Imperial is the willingness to pull together to help someone out. Whether its raising money for the FFA, sports programs, individuals fighting cancer, or to help the protectors of our freedom, our community lines up to offer what help they can. We hope to see you at our race on May 26th, 2018!

The Mission

The inaugural Joggin’ for Frogmen 5k run/walk and kids’ Tadpole Trot was held in San Diego on July 29, 2012. The race marked the one year anniversary of the Extortion 17 helicopter tragedy in Afghanistan by paying tribute to the 30 American warriors and 1 working dog lost that fateful day. Through this single race in San Diego, Joggin’ for Frogmen raised over $58,000 net contribution.

In 2016, Joggin’ for Frogmen became the Official Race Series and the Official Running Team of the Navy SEAL Foundation. Joggin’ for Frogmen is continuing to grow across the United States, as well as expanding our reach worldwide via the Running Team. To date we have raised over $700,000 net contribution. As we continue to grow and build momentum, we hope you will join us and contribute to Joggin’ for Frogmen in 2017!
