Trekking 150 miles from Malibu to Coronado

In my lifetime quest to raise $1,000,000.00 for wounded and/or killed military veterans and their families, this will be my second fundraising venture. I’m so grateful and very appreciative of the sacrifices that our incredibly brave warriors and their families make to protect us here at home. I’m also passionate about the little things I can do to be of assistance to them.  It pains me greatly to see and hear about combat veterans returning home, in need of assistance and not getting it for many unnecessary reasons.

My first one, in 2016, was to benefit the SEMPER FI FUND and what was originally a fundraising goal of $10,000. by way of a short, group walk in the East Bay area morphed into walking around Lake Tahoe and raising over $157,000.

Now, on September 30th, I will commence a 150 mi. walk, starting at Zuma Beach/ Malibu and finishing on Oct. 19th at Coronado Island. My goal is to raise at least $150,000 for the Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF). I will personally be donating $25,000. As well as any/all event, logistical, lodging, etc. costs. Although my goal is $150,000, I firmly believe I, with the help of family, friends, business associates and others, that this event will eventually hit net proceeds of $250,000 !
