NSF is here for the warriors, veterans, and families of NSW to assist with tragedy and aid in recovery should the worst happen. Programs under our Resilience Pillar help families of the fallen (Gold Star Families) with immediate financial assistance to cover costs associated with the dignified transfer of remains and memorial services, as well as travel expenses.

NSF continues to provide a variety of vital services to children, spouses, and parents of fallen warriors in the years following their loss including grief counseling, retreats, remembrance gifts, and specialized kids camps. Additionally, we provide support in the unfortunate case of a veteran death and assistance for the warrior who suffers the loss of a child, parent, or sibling. The Navy SEAL Foundation is committed to keeping our warriors, families, and veterans resilient.

Thank you so much! Literally in tears. Having to stay home with kids and not having my income from work I was so stressed trying to figure out how to stay afloat during this time. Since this has been going on it feels like the days after my husband’s death. Like my world had slowed down and wondering why no one else’s world was slowing down either. But going out into society now I have that same feeling but this time everyone around me is feeling it too.

Unfortunately, we've had to deal with some deaths. And we've had to deal with them up close. And seeing how quickly the Navy SEAL Foundation jumps in, no questions - they jump in, provide the immediate support, so that way the other team members, the families, can focus on other aspects and focus, really, on the grieving aspect of it.
